Tom Volkar, who calls himself the ‘True Calling Coach’, believes he has found the answer. Tom believes that there are four essential concepts of authentic career discovery, which we need to follow in order to identify our true calling in life.

Tom's Book - 9 Compass Points of the True Calling Process

The steps are:

  • Step One –An in-depth conversation about who you are and what you most want to create. This is to agree on objectives and to co-create a customized career coaching exploration structure.
  • Step Two –Creation of a set of intake questions designed to further zero in on what you most want and how best to go about creating it.
  • Step Three –An exploratory coaching session on one essential issue or desire.
  • Step Four –90 days of intense, life purpose (true calling) discovery coaching.

By following these four steps, Tom suggests that any person can be guided towards finding their true calling, and then acting to make it happen.

You can check out my interview with Tom , to meet him and find out more about who he is, and what led him to develop a suite of products and services which help people find their rightful place in the world.

The concept of Divine Coalescence.

Divine Coalescence is the process Tom uses to describe how people achieve their ideal place in the world, and discover their true calling. He suggests that an authentic career exploration identifies who you are, so that your alignment with your career or business is clearly evident. This supports you in making a career change to your true calling.

Tom has developed a product that supports people to experience creation from a base of their own inspiration, rather than relying upon willpower alone. This helps people to discover whether self-employment is right for them, before they take the jump in to trying it full time.

Dear Tom -

I want to know what kind of vitamins you take.

WOW. I need some of that energy.

We all need some of the burning fuel. It’s all good. And it all means something.

I think everything that happens has meaning. We just don’t see it at the time. You learned a lot working at McDonald’s when a teenager.

Looking forward to more.

Great interview, Michelle.

Corrine, the energy comes directly from engaging my calling. Natural stimulants are hard to beat. I ate a lot of McDonald’s as a teenage but I never worked there. I was too busy going deep somewhere.
