…..(or something like that)….
From her site Awaken Your Soul
After having her hands read in 2004, Peggie vowed to start living her life purpose in a profitable, fun way in service to others. She founded Awaken Your Soul Enterprises to empower entrepreneurs, adoptees and singles to break down limiting beliefs so that they can live more profitable and purpose-driven lives. Her clients reawaken self-trust and discover fresh ways to communicate their passions so that they can powerfully connect with others.
She loves combining the modern tools of social media with the ancient tool of hand analysis to assist her private and group clients in reaching their highest potential and she offers live classes in Palmistry, Career guidance and Social media throughout the metro region.
Things I love: Dogs, yoga, reading hands, reminding people they are more than capable of doing the things they think they can’t – like fall (and stay) in love, run a business; stay in downward dog, or leave a crappy marriage or job. I also love Dark Belgian Chocolate with lavender and Pistachio, A smokey, dry red wine, talking food on commercials and the movie “The Replacements.” Oh, and People magazine. Why I read hands: It combines so much information in one relatively small place — and it’s a great jumping off point for the reminding that I like to do. Each person has their own set of hands and that let’s them see that their story truly is unique. Palmistry to me is endlessly fascinating – it’s learnable, it’s teachable and it gives us each a way to find our center – not someone else’s.

Interesting interview, Michelle.
I have a question for Peggy.
First a story.
My husband and I were in London when they had a snowstorm. Everything was closed.
There was a “palm reader” in the lobby and we decided to pass the time by having her read ours.
She did mine first and it was fun. Then she took my husband’s hand,
Suddenly, she made some excuse and said she had to go.
I saw her later and asked her about it.
She said she did not give out bad news. It looked to her that he would die soon.
Pretty shocking news.
When we got home, he was diagosed with prostate cancer which had spread. He did die from that.
Peggy said you cannot predict the future.
How would she explain that?
Corinne,
First, I’m deeply sorry for your loss.
Next, I know that there are definitely psychics who use hands as a doorway into their reaadings. That’s different from what I do. I focus only on the data in the hand — “just the facts.” (unless someone asks for an intuitive peek as well).
With that said, I have a question about her ethics…she abrubtly left and said she wouldn’t give bad news.
HMMM. that sounds like bad news to me.
You found her and asked what she meant. She told you. Again, sounds like she gave some bad news.
I’m certain you shared it with your husband.
I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt – she may have been new to her gifts and was overwhelmed with the image she saw when holding yoru husband’s hands. Perhaps she hadn’t done enough work to know that there are always multiple outcomes. She may have bolted before accessing her higher wisdom in search of alternatives or for specific ways of helping you.
Your palmist seems to be also a medical intuitive, empath or psychic who may or may not be aware of those gifts. I suspect if she were aware she would have been better at providing options — ideas for self-healing and work that has to be done.
In a person’s hands I can see patterns in behavior and make recommendations — but no, I cannot tell when a person is going to die. My belief is that we each have much more control over that date than we’d like to imagine.
Your life line changes constantly throughout your life — based on your inner and outer choices. We’re starting to see that some Western doctors are finding truth in the idea that our ideas/thoughts become illness or healing. They aren’t sure why, but they know it happens.
If I saw someone with some breakdowns in the third chakra area of the hands, I would talk about them…that might give someone the impetus to check in with their intuition, listen to their body, maybe have a doctor’s appointment sooner than later (by the way each of the men I know with/recovered from prostate cancer put off dealing with the doctor and telling their families for a while) and moving forward into health.
No, I can’t tell you your future, because I believe we each have free will – I think it’s unethical to paint only one outcome. But I’m happy to talk about patterns and possible outcomes – what they call “war-gaming” — as we continue to do what we we’ve always done – we are likely to end up in a predictable place.
I’m not poo-pooing people who can see specific health issues, as I’m a huge fan of people like Carline Myss and Dr. Mona Lisa Schultz and more — they use their gifts to help their clients make choices for their own good based upon what they see.
I’m so sorry that this woman who read your hands hadn’t yet learned how to use her gifts effectively to help you and your husband. I’m sure it was a devastating and painful loss for you and more frustrating thinking that maybe you could have had tools to help/prevent it.
My intuitive belief is that there is a message for you in that “chance” meeting with the palm-reader — about listening to your gut and your own body. You don’t say how long ago that was, but it’s clearly an important incident in your spiritual journey. If you haven’t you may want to explore the work of Caroline Myss and Dr. Mona Lisa Schultz (I don’t promote them for any reason other than the deep insight they’ve given me to understanding my body and the health of others).
Corinne, my deep sympathy is with you and your extended family. We continue to grieve our loved ones throughout our lives.
Hugs,
Peggie
Thanks, Peggie -
Appreciate your great answer.
No, I never told my husband what she said when I saw her later. He just wrote her off at the time as some kind of a nut and just agreed to the palm reading for something to pass the time. He never was into any kind of psychic stuff or spirituality.
She probably had psychic ability and it was more than what she saw in his hand.
I know both Caroline Myss and Mona Lisa Schutz. Have read their books and interviewed them on my TV show.
Mona Lisa is someone really special. I did two shows with her. She not only wrote to Wisdom Television to say they were the best interviews she ever did but wrote an endorsement for my last book.
This happened quite a while ago. But the experience has always haunted me.
Of course, I never saw that palmist again.
Enjoyed your show with Michelle. You are a great interview.
Deep appreciation for the wonderful explanation.
Corinne – thanks for your response and I’m so glad that you have a connection with both those amazing women. I’d love to meet them (and you) someday too!

I viewed a couple of the video’s listed and appreciated what I viewed. I watched more of the video of Peggie Arvidson than the others. I was impressed with her process of teaching us who we are and our life purpose. in viewing Peggie’s video I realized I have some fear about what it means to be living in full harmony with my life purpose. The fear is connected to not knowing what changes it could mean for me.
