Just Like My Child Foundation- Vivian GlyckWith the Haiti devastation, we all need to know that when we are called, we can make a difference.
Last year I remotely interviewed Vivian Glyck from Just Like My Child Foundation. This timely interview shows how one person can help people anywhere in the world. She works in Africa, where there is also great need. People all over the world are suffering. Are you called to help somewhere?
Vivian shares how she was inspired to build a school in Africa – and how she followed her dreams.
From her site:
In 2007, inspired and awed by the love for her own son, Vivian determined that she would shift her focus, energy, and talents away from her traditional business endeavors and onto a broader and much farther-reaching vision – delivering hope to children in rural Uganda. She founded the Just Like My Child Foundation on the premise that every child in the world is deserving of all of the dreams, hope, education, opportunities, healthcare, and love that her son has been offered.
Vivian Glyck is an accomplished entrepreneur, strategic marketing consultant, and esteemed author. With great enthusiasm and insight, she has experienced a lifetime of dynamic success helping health-based organizations, authors, speakers, and publishers develop and reach their marketing goals.
Vivian is also the founder and CEO of Glyck Communications, a highly-successful organization whose successes in marketing strategy include direct marketing/advertising campaigns and publicity strategies that have landed clients on the cover of national news magazines.
The publication of her first book, 12 lessons on Life I Learned From My Garden: Spiritual Guidance from the Vegetable Patch, involved a seven city speaking/media tour which resulted in sales of approximately 15,000 copies

Dear Michelle -
Although this video is not about Haiti, I hope some existing good non for profit will pick up Vivian’s format for that poor country.
I bet she would be happy to share the benefit of her experience. She is an inspiration.
Or, I wonder if she will expand her abilities to other areas like Haiti who need her so much.
I believe she would be willing to help anyone who asks for her vast knowledge.
Excellent interview – and timely.
