About Dr. Amit Goswami

Dr. Goswami runs a site which introduces the concept of Quantum Activism – the idea of changing ourselves and our societies in accordance with the principles of quantum physics.

The Center for Quantum Activism seeks to educate, support and facilitate the transformation from the current materialist worldview to one based on the primacy of consciousness.

Dr. Goswami has written a series of books including The Self-Aware Universe, God Is Not Dead: What Quantum Physics Tells Us about Our Origins and The Quantum Doctor: A Physicist’s Guide to Health and Healing. He has also produced a DVD called The Quantum Activist, which details the methodology behind combining scientific thought and spiritual belief.

Dr. Goswami is a retired professor from the theoretical physics department of the University of Oregon in Eugene, where he had served since 1968. He is a pioneer of the new paradigm of science called “science within consciousness”.

In his private life, Dr. Goswami is a practitioner of spirituality and transformation. He calls himself a quantum activist. He appeared in the film “What the Bleep Do We Know“, “The Dalai Lama Renaissance“, and the “The Quantum Activist“.
